"Wow, that's one scary-looking haunted house. Whoever rigged this up probably had a lot of time on their hands. O.o" Presea blinked at the mansion before her eyes. Something about it made the very house spooky when she looked at it. "Oh well, let's see if I can phone home... I don't even know where I am." Presea made her way onto the porch. Just as she touched the doorknob, the door slid open as if welcoming her inside.
Even though she thought it was a bit frightening, she went inside anyway.

"I hope there aren't any buggys in here," Michelle muttered to herself. "I don't like buggys. This reminds me of that one scary movie with the spiders. I don't like spiders. I don't like being alone, either. When I'm alone I start to talk to myself. I can even start a whole conversation with myself sometimes. I'll just start talking and talking and not even notice no one besides me is listening. Hee. I'm silly like that. Oh... I'm doing it again..."

As she walked, Presea found herself pulling some kind of invisible thread off of herself.
"What... what is this?" She asked herself.
She was unaware of the large shadow figure sneaking up slowly behind her... slowly... slowly.. stalking it's prey...

"Eeeeee, these things bug me..." Michelle puffed her cheeks out and pouted, as she waved her arms about at an attempt to get the stringy thingy off. "They look like spider webbys... I hope there aren't any spiders here." She made a sad face, as she surveyed her surroundings for a phone. "Phone. Phone home. Like ET. Hee."

THUD! THUD! THUD! The creature wasn't being quiet now! It was going in for the kill! It's prey was right where it should be. The eight-legged monstrosity lunged forward. In a flash, twenty feet of archnid was flying through the air. It hissed, menacingly, opening it's mouth, fangs revealed. Venom spilled from the fangs around the gaping hole of doom. The spider was set, it would kill.

Michelle turned around at the startling noise behind her. When she saw the eight-legged spider thing in front of her, she did the first thing to cross her mind.
"AHHHHHHOHMYGODIT'SGONNAEATMEOHNOES!!!"
She began to hop around in place, looking around frantically for something to throw at it. Like cheese! Cheese was perfectly throwable, but she wasn't in the kitchen...

The spider flew through the air. Fangs dripping with green and purple venom, which burned holes into the old wood floor. Hissing which was of a vicious creature echoed around the room. Hair from it's many legs flew off in bunches, filling the room with the eye stinging bristles. The creatures was closing in, finally about to end it...
A disgusting smooshing sound.
The hissing stopped. The floor doesn't creak under the weight of the massive creature supporting itself. There are three thuds: two for the halves of the spider's body, and one for the cloaked figure who had emerged from the shadows. The figure was holding a long and shining sword in one dark gloved hand. The figure turned around slightly, though making sure not to reveal his face from under his hood's shadow.
"Are you okay?" asked the figure.

Michelle stared at the figure. "Me? Yeah... Who are you?" She blinked a few times before gasping. "Ahh! Are you one of those people in TV shows with the sword and the butt-kicking and the swoooooooosh-flying and the saving the day?" The girl began to punch the air around her. "Ka-a-apow!"

"Um.. sure..." the figue answered. And turned around. Without another word, he leapt into the darkness, dissapearing from sight. What was left behind was a note... a startling note:
8/13/2006
The house I discovered... It's filled with evil... an aura... of darkness... I don't quite understand why the house is evil, but it has something to do with a great hunger. A lust for some form of food from the emotions of people. The house should be destroyed... and I should do it... before it hurts anybody else...
The bottom of the note had been torn, so the signature of the writer had been ripped off.

"What a weird note," Michelle muttered to herself, poking it with her finger. "Houses can't be evil! Houses aren't even living, silly!" She turned away from the note to search for the door, but something told her to take the note with her. She picked it up, stuffed it in her pocket, and whistled a tune as she looked for the door.

The door opens to the main room... it beckons P-Chan to enter it..
*Note: Entering the door will leave this room, but you will be temporarily in limbo until the next part of the story.*

((Oh, I can wait. )) Michelle made a kitty face as she spotted the open door. ":3 That wasn't so hard." She skipped through the doorway, continuing to whistle.

((Actually, you don't have to wait.)) Since you have gone through the door, you see a small staircase leading upstairs. With a few steps, you wander down the winding steps, wondering where they will take you. You will be redirected to The Family Room.
