Mad people, maybe some kind of strange scientists who manipulate humans and make monsters out of them, Whisper thought while he crawled away and hid himself behind the boxes and desk.

Pyro got to his feet dizzily. I should be fine... though I don't think I'll be doing that again anytime soon. The flames that once surrounded his body now grew dimmer. Gah... I don't feel so good. But we'll worry about that later. Right now, let's find your friends. He stumbled across the floor and toward the door of the garage that led the group inside.
