There aren't going to be too many limitations, because I want everyone to be creative. ^-^ But I just want to ask that you follow the following regulations.
1. Stay in your thread, unless you are instructed to leave. Don't assume that you can run away from everything... the NPC's are there for a reason. Until you are permitted to move on, please stay in the area (it will say in the title of the thread) that you are in.
2. Yes, you are allowed to create your own NPC's, but please keep it to a minimum. Don't pretend that 1,000,000 knives are flying at you from the kitchen just because you have the ability to make things happen.
3. Obey the Grim Reaper. Why? Because he controls the mansion. By the way, I'm not saying that you have to obey the Grim Reaper character if he tells you to kill your friends . >.> Just pay attention to his posts when he creates events for you to play off of.
4. Don't godmod. In order to make a fair roleplay, please don't make your character (aka yourself) invincible. Keep the roleplay somewhat realistic, staying with your personality and physical abilities. I don't think anyone has the ability to shimmie up walls, so don't go climbing on random things. No one can kung-fu a monster piano to death, so don't whip out your martial arts skills in vain. Yes, you can run, you can hide, you can make use of whatever else you may find around you, but don't make yourself a God.
5. Don't make assumptions or exaggerations. Just because I have an evil candle stick decide to light the curtains on fire doesn't mean that you're going to die. In fact, it means that you should find someway to counter the flames.
6. Please don't create any threads in the roleplaying sections. This rp follows a strict guideline. Create as many as you want in the OOC sections though.
7. Be patient. The Grim Reaper has a life too, ya'know and can't reply to all your threads 24-7. XD
Tips: Make use of your surroundings. Don't be afraid of monsters. Just because the Grim Reaper sets you up against something crazy doesn't mean that you can't overcome it. Everything has a weakness; you just have to find it. He will supply you with hints and tips along the way. Use them to your advantage. Don't run away from everything.
