((For Shiro, Moses, Tim, Remy and Kal))
There were five people in the library. In the corner lay a pile of books and rubble. Just a few minutes ago the dust from the crash had settled, the haunting organ beneath it buried permanantly in the disorganized array of splintered wood and pages. Even though the enemy had fallen (or something had fallen on it, rather), the eerie music of the organ still echoed in the ears of the adventurers, causing a tingle to race up their spines.
In the strangely loud silence, thoughts filled these five teens' minds... why were they here? What was this place? Would they ever escape? Such questions flew around their heads, constantly pecking at their brains and picking out sensations of fear. The candles in the library had burned low, the white wax beginning to drip in the form of liquid. Time seemed to be inching along, and the five began to wonder what would happen to them.
This mansion was so mysterious and unbelievable. In, fact most people would doubt what the house held if they hadn't seen proof before their very eyes.
Pyro's flaming body was growing brighter now. It seemed that he had recovered most of his strength from the attack on the motorcycle earlier. Now quit moping, ya'll! Let's get moving! Apparently, he was impatient. There's a lot of this mansion you haven't seen yet and I doubt that we'll get anything done by sitting here!
But the fact of it was... what were they doing? Rescuing random people? Why? Who was at the bottom of this? What was he/she/it planning? They had to know. There was no way they could continue like this... they had no idea how big this mansion was or what other horrors lied within it...
