The plant cringed back when splashed with the gas from the chainsaw's tank. Smoke rose from it's skin into the skies above, and a low hissing sound emitted from deep within the stem. The creature seemed to shake and dance, trieing to get the gas off itself as a snake-like song hissed from melting plant.

Whisper opened the door to the Library and stormed in to get the flame-creature for help.

...Now! Josh took a dash at the plant whuile it was distracted, started the engine of the chainsaw, and went in for a messy result. "BLEEEED!"
